The Hour Of Code initiative by Code.org is aimed at annually commemorating the Computer Science Education Week. An hour-long events are organized globally to introduce young pupils and students in schools to coding.

In partnership with Emerging Communities Africa, we organized “Hour of Code” events in 4 schools in Akure, Ondo State, and trained 40 students in the 2022 edition of the bootcamp. Some of the schools that participated in the “Hour of Code” events include; Mount Olives School Ijapo, Akure, Higher Heights School, Akure, St. Dominic secondary school, Akure and Olufunmi Schools and college, Akure.
